Self-Service Software Provides Organizations with Core Analytics and Actionable Insight to Identify Areas of Pay Inequality, Risk and Compliance Exposure

BOSTON and LONDON, May 06, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Curo Compensation Limited (Curo), an industry leader in total compensation management technology, today announced the launch of a new solution, Curo Pay Equity Tracker (CuroPET). Designed to support the needs of HR and total reward professionals, the self-service and fully configurable solution provides detailed organizational insights based on global pay equity analytics, highlighting areas of risk at a country, market and job level.

Over the last few years, countries including the U.K., France and Germany have enacted new laws designed to reduce gender pay disparities. There is also emerging legislation in multiple states across the U.S. – all intended to drive organizations towards pay equity and transparency. Concurrently, investigations into pay secrecy and wage disparities are increasing, creating significant challenges for enterprises without the proper pay equity technology and measurements in place. To help organizations manage compliance and ensure required reporting is accurate and up-to-date, Curo developed CuroPET. By identifying where pay inequality exists, organizations using CuroPET can also measure pay equity across user-definable categories and scale, creating comparisons based on proven compensation models.

As well as calculating raw pay gaps, CuroPET works to explain pay equity through non-monetary factors using regression analysis, and allows the upload of additional internal and external data to deepen understanding. From here, organizations can track remedial actions at an individual employee level. This will enable organizations to get ahead of and comply with legislation, promoting fair treatment of employees and enhancing brand perception.

Curo founder and CEO Gerry O’Neill explained, “Having become a compelling issue for business leaders, the growing need for pay equity is driving employee expectations for greater transparency, and for employers, increasing exposure to potential litigation. Not only that but pay equity increasingly impacts brand perception and an organization’s ability to attract and retain high-quality talent.”

Curo will spotlight CuroPET at the WorldatWork Total Rewards Conference and Exhibition taking place this week, May 6 – 8, in Orlando. Conference attendees interested are encouraged to visit Booth No. 912 for product demos and additional information.

O’Neill added, “As more countries adopt pay equity legislation, organizations need to assess where their workforce stands, across all employment and compensation categories. CuroPET provides a clear path to this understanding, offering the analytics, insight and guidance needed to think globally while acting locally, and closing gaps as they exist today.”
